For the next few days we will continue to enjoy relatively stable and acceptable temperatures, however the African heat as depicted in the map above, will start raising it’s head once again as from mid-next week. It is too early to forecast precise temperatures exactly as the forecasts are less reliable once we look at long term projections, however this can be taken as a general idea of what to expect. The map shows projections (temperatures at 850hPa) for early Monday morning clearly indicating hotter temperatures extending towards the Central Mediterranean once again originating from over Northern Africa.
Thursday 18th May : Sunny. High 25C,Low 16C Winds South West South between Force 2 and Force 3.
Friday 19th May : Some clouds in the morning will give way to mainly sunny skies for the afternoon. High 26C, Low 17C Winds South between Force 3 and Force 4 later becoming West South West between Force 2 and Force 3.
Saturday 20th May : Sunny. High 25C, low 17C Winds West North West between Force 3 and Force 5
Sunday 21st May : Sunny skies with gusty winds developing later in the day. High 25C,Low 17C. Winds North West between Force 5 and Force 7
Monday 22nd May : Partly cloudy skies. High 26C,Low 17C. Winds North West between Force 2 and Force 3, later light and variable.
